Allan Dyen-Shapiro is a Ph.D. biochemist who currently works as an educator. He has sold seven short stories at pro rates, the most recent two to appear being "Crazy Horse's Prodigal Granddaughter" (Grantville Gazette, January 2020) and "Like Him with Friends Possess'd" (Flash Fiction Online, December 2019). The latter made Tangent Online's 2019 Recommended Reading List. He has also co-edited an anthology of SFF stories set in the MIddle East (HOLY COW: SF Stories from the Center of the World, June 2019). He has recently completed writing his first novel.
