L.S. Johnson is the author of over thirty short stories and the Chase & Daniels series of gothic novellas. Her first self-published collection, Vacui Magia, won the North Street Book Prize and was a finalist for the World Fantasy Award. Her second self-published collection, Rare Birds, was on the preliminary ballot for the Stoker Awards. The third Chase & Daniels novella, The Painter's Widow, will be out in June 2020.
