Imagined Societies: Co-Designing Speculative Futures

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This limited-participation session can only be joined by attendees who acquired a ticket through the supplemental event lottery.

A highly interactive and collaborative session in which we'll use shared online tools and our own diverse experiences and views to co-create scenarios for the future of life on Earth. Participants will identify elements of those futures partly based on speculative fiction books we've read and partly based on our own imaginations. This will include variations on how economies can work, our relationships with technology, how societies are organized, the built environment, and more. In small teams, we'll then create and share different scenarios about what our life on Earth might look like in the future, and in the process become co-designers, not just consumers, of our imagined futures
